Golden Encore is the performance outreach program from the Pioneer Center designed specifically for senior citizens, combining exceptional entertainment with lifelong learning opportunities. Golden Encore brings professional performing artists directly to our community’s seniors where they already live, congregate, or receive care. This includes senior centers, assisted living facilities, residential community centers, memory care facilities, public libraries, and more.

Artists selected for the Golden Encore roster provide programs filled with music, movement, history, and a trip down memory lane. Through research study and group training, each Golden Encore program includes expert-endorsed components known to have a positive effect on the mental and physical health of seniors.
