WHO WE ARE
The Pioneer Center believes that education is fundamental to a thriving community, and we are committed to creating dynamic arts education opportunities in our historic venue and throughout the region. Since 1967, Pioneer Center Youth Programs [PCYP] has been providing K-5 grade children in northern Nevada with the best in educational outreach performance assemblies.

ABOUT PCYP
PCYP presents high caliber performances by professional artists in public and private elementary schools, public libraries, and community centers across Washoe, Carson, Churchill, Douglas, Lyon, Mineral, Pershing, and Storey Counties. The interdisciplinary artists on our roster use music, dance, theater and more to teach K-5 curriculum in exciting, new, and interactive ways. In-person and virtual streaming formats are available. Individual audience members are never charged a fee to attend a PCYP performance.
